CONTRACTS MANAGER – CALAX

Responsibilities

  • Manages procurement of goods and services, contract administration, and compliance from inception to completion of all identified projects in the operation and maintenance of the CALAX.
  • Establish procurement policies and procedures, and initiate improvement plans. 
  • Establish vendor accreditation criteria and accredit prequalified core vendors. 
  • Perform comprehensive bid packaging to obtain competitive and responsive bids through Request For Quote (RFQ).
  • Perform bid analysis and make factual, objective and transparent recommendations for management’s approval. 
  • Reviews and checks all construction and international and local consultant’s billings and recommend for payment and administer all requests for payment by the contractors.
  • Tracks vendor’s deliverables to ensure agreed conditions are met and complied. 
  • Analyze governing import and export regulations and strategies action plans for early shipment retrievals or dispatch. 
  • Study contract, plans, specifications and other contract documents.
  • Assist in the administration of the operation and maintenance agreement and all other consultancy agreements.
  • Coordinate/liaise with international consultants, engineers, architects, and grantor’s representatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of any degree in Engineering and/or Business Management
  • At least 8 years of related experience in project management and construction industry
