Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive level I and II technology support to the FactSet users via phone, email, and remote assistance
  • Resolve client issues with installation, connectivity, crashing, slowness, security, and Office Integration
  • Provide proactive technical support to the FactSet users via phone, email, and remote assistance
  • Resolve client issues with installation, connectivity, crashing, slowness, security, and Office Integration
  • Monitor team mailboxes for client issues and client emails that have bounced back Resolve client issues and notify the account team of client emails that have bounced back 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer), Engineering (Electronic and Communication).
  • Preferably Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in IT/Computer - Software Development or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

  • Networking, computer engineering, and application troubleshooting
  • A primary role of my position is troubleshooting network, computer, and application issues
  • Business-level written and verbal English communication skills are needed to communicate in order to find resolutions to issues and in order to resolve issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A primary role of my position is solving technology problems where there is no existing resolution
  • Excellent time and task management abilities
  • I have an existing queue and new client issues coming infrequently, with multiple client issues needing to be worked on most of the time
  • To read and interpret technical documentation To learn about new topics and developments of existing topics related to technology issues I troubleshoot and resolve
  • OSI Model The technology issues that I troubleshoot can exist within any layer of the OSI model
