The FactSet RMS family of products provide research solutions for financial institutions including investment banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, pension plans, endowments, foundations, and brokerage firms, with an active presence across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
To support the growth of our business, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a technical background and strong interpersonal skills. You will join a dynamic group and be an integral part of the FactSet RMS Customisation Development team. You will be responsible for helping implement, install, customize and support the product deployed at the client.
 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Global Product Specialists with projects that can last from a few weeks to a few months
  • Customize the product according to plan, within predefined time frame, workload and specifications
  • Implement client projects locally by recreating their specific environment (from both a core product and customisation perspective)
  • Work closely with Product Specialist in client-facing regions to respond to client requests
  • Follow best practices for different types of implementation
  • Ensure highest quality of deliverables
  • Proactively monitor and report project status to Project Manager and Team Lead

 

Job Requirements

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent – Computer Science, IT or Finance majors are preferred, but all majors will be considered
  • Superior client service attitude and skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, and solid organizational skills a required
  • Superior proficiency/skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Background knowledge in programming or data management not required, but demonstrated critical thinking ability and a willingness to learn new technologies is critical
  • Background with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL a plus
  • Desire to work shifts: 6:00am – 3:00pm / 3:00pm – 12:00am

Requirements

  • Preferably Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
