Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer).
  • Junior Associate (1-4 yrs experience) specializing in IT/Computer - Software Development or equivalent.

The opportunity

We are looking for a junior iOS developer with solid foundation in enterprise and commercial applications,  interested in building highly performant mobile apps with Swift 5.2+. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface and reusable components . You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated expandable design, and quality product is important.

Your key responsibilities

  • Developing new user interface through Storyboarding, Swift UI or coding.
  • Networking Libraries and integration with third-party frameworks
  • Building reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Ability to optimize the code through the use of instruments, or various techniques of memory profiling
  • Guide the team to follow best industry practices to deliver clean code keeping performance in check

Skills and attributes for success

  • In depth knowledge in latest stable Swift(5+) and Objective C.
  • Expertise in iPhone SDK, Cocoa touch frameworks UIKit, foundation, core data, AVFoundation, Core location, ARKit, and APIs
  • Ability to organize large-scale front-end mobile application codebases using common mobile design patterns such as MVVM, MVC or Viper.
  • Must have developed apps using swift & objective C interoperability
  • In-depth understanding of Adaptive layouts - iOS storyboards, auto layout, Size classes
  • Understanding of interactive application development paradigms, GUI, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi- threading
  • Develop cutting edge functional modules that will be integrated across our iOS Application
  • Experience in code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
  • Stay abreast of latest iOS platform features and propose evolution of application to take advantage of the sam
  • Experience with two way data synchronization between client and server database for applications which supports offline capability 

To qualify for the role you must have  

  • 3-6 years of experience in iOS native with Swift and Objective-C
  • UI/UX and architecture skills
  • JSON, REST and Web Services, low energy peripheral devices integration.
  • Jira, git or other tools
  • In depth knowledge in latest stable Swift(5+) and Objective C.
  • Expertise in iPhone SDK, Cocoa touch frameworks UIKit, foundation, core data, AVFoundation, Core location, ARKit, and APIs
  • Ability to organize large-scale front-end mobile application codebases using common mobile design patterns such as MVVM, MVC or Viper.
  • Must have developed apps using swift & objective C interoperability

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • AWS/Azure or any cloud exposure
  • SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SSL integration exposure
  • Experience in emerging technologies such as IoT, AI/ML etc.
  • Knowledge of Hybrid Mobile application frameworks such as Cordova/PhoneGap
  • Awareness of enterprise Mobile Application Management (MAM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) frameworks such as Microsoft Intune, Citrix XenMobile, etc. is a plus
  • More advanced data handlers such as WebSocket’s and Offline mobile applications
  • Awareness of Enterprise mobile applications and data protection policies and methods would be a plus

Client Service

  • Advisory services include internal audit, compliance, reporting and analytics services. When you work with Advisory, you will be exposed to both international projects and local client work in the domestic market.
  • Assurance supports the EY member firms to help their clients meet regulatory demands around the world. You will work with a team of professionals providing assurance support to EY member firms.
  • Knowledge is a team of professionals working to help practitioners understand their clients’ business environments, win work and deepen relationships. You will help in enabling services, tools, insights and content so our teams can provide high-quality service.

Enablement Services

  • Creative Agency Services provides exciting career opportunities in translation services, content development for web-based learning and instructor-led training programs, as well as operations and administrative services. As part of our design team, you will provide graphic design and interactive media development.
  • IT Services provide IT support and services to our internal customers internal support functions and EY wide projects and programs. You will help to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, as part of a team that provides help-desk, network and data center services to employees, along with workstation support, telecommunications and IT products.
  • Talent Services delivers consistent, high quality and operationally efficient HR administration and support services, which include recruitment support, onboarding, workforce administration, learning administration, performance management system support and reporting. As a member of Talent Services, you will provide a wide range of HR support services. These services are supported by standardized, global processes enabling the customers’ HR and L&D teams, and the client-serving teams in EMEIA, to focus more on the business’s strategic agenda.
  • Risk Management Services (RMS) provides support to client-serving professionals across EY. It extends services for personal and professional Independence, client and engagement conflict, service line quality, and end-to-end assistance with client and engagement setup. With its team of lawyers, RMS also offers contract management, SCORE and corporate secretarial support. RMS has a diverse user base, including Global and Regional Risk Management and Service Lines Quality teams.

GDS Operations

  • In this area, you will provide operations support to our Client Service and Enablement Services teams, and support the communication needs of the EY network. You will analyze and report on local and EY wide business development, and work on project management and business continuity planning.
